Visa Invitation Letter Policy
Thank you for your interest in attending TiECon Germany.
Many of our participants travel from outside Germany, including India, the United States, Asia, Africa and the Middle East. We are pleased to provide invitation letters for genuine conference participants who require them for visa applications.
Eligibility
Invitation letters may be issued after:
successful conference registration;
full payment of the registration fee;
receipt of all required documentation.
Required Information
Applicants requesting an invitation letter must provide:
Full name (exactly as shown in passport)
Passport number
Nationality
Date of birth
Residential address
Organization/Company
Job title
Email address
Passport copy
Intended travel dates
Additional information may be requested where necessary.
Processing Time
Invitation letters are generally issued within 5–10 business days after all required documents have been received.
Important Information
An invitation letter:
confirms only that the applicant has registered for TiECon Germany;
does not constitute sponsorship;
does not guarantee entry into Germany;
does not influence the decision of any German Embassy or Consulate.
Visa decisions are made solely by the competent German diplomatic authorities.
Refund Policy for Visa Refusals
If a visa application is refused, participants may request a refund by providing:
a copy of the official visa refusal notice; and
the request before the conference begins.
Approved refunds will be processed after deduction of an administrative processing fee of EUR 50.
No refund will be issued if:
the visa application was submitted late;
insufficient documentation was provided to the embassy;
the participant failed to attend the visa appointment;
the visa refusal resulted from inaccurate or misleading information supplied by the applicant.
Responsibility of the Applicant
Participants are solely responsible for:
applying for their visa in sufficient time;
ensuring that all information submitted to the embassy is accurate;
complying with all immigration requirements.
TiE Germany e.V. cannot be held responsible for visa refusals, delays or travel restrictions.
