Participation Policy
Registration
Participation is subject to successful registration and, where applicable, full payment of the registration fee. tickets are issued to the registered participant and may not be transferred without prior written approval from TiE Germany e.V.
Admission
Participants may be requested to present a valid government-issued photo identification at the registration desk.
Cancellation by Participant
Cancellations received 30 days or more before the event are eligible for a refund less an administrative fee of 10% of the ticket price (minimum EUR 25).
No refunds will be issued for cancellations received within 30 days of the event.
A substitute participant may be nominated free of charge until 7 days before the event, subject to written approval by the organizer.
Event Cancellation
Should TiE Germany e.V. cancel the event, participants will receive a full refund of the registration fee. The organizer shall not be responsible for travel costs, accommodation expenses, visa costs, exchange rate losses or any indirect or consequential damages.
Code of Conduct
All participants are expected to behave professionally and respectfully.
Harassment, discrimination, intimidation or disruptive behaviour of any kind will not be tolerated. The organizer reserves the right to remove any participant without refund if their conduct adversely affects the event or other attendees.
Photography and Video Recording
Photography and video recording will take place throughout the conference.
By attending TiECon Germany, participants consent to the use of photographs and recordings in conference reports, promotional materials, websites, social media channels and future event marketing. Participants who do not wish to appear in photographs should inform the registration desk upon arrival.
Name Badge
Participants agree that their name, organization and country may appear on their conference badge.
Health and Safety
Participants agree to comply with all health, safety and security requirements established by the venue and the organizer.
Liability
Participation is entirely at the participant’s own risk.
The organizer’s liability is limited to the extent permitted under German law.
Privacy
Personal information collected during registration will be processed in accordance with the published Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws, including the GDPR.
Governing Law
These Participation Terms shall be governed by the laws of Germany.
The exclusive place of jurisdiction, where legally permissible, shall be Frankfurt am Main.
