Scope
These Terms & Conditions apply to all registrations and ticket purchases for events organized by TiE Germany e.V.
Registration and Contract Formation
Registration is completed through the official TiECon Germany website.
By submitting a registration, the participant makes a binding offer to attend the event.
The contract becomes effective upon successful payment confirmation and acceptance of the registration by TiE Germany e.V.
Registration Fees
The applicable participation fee is the price displayed on the website at the time of booking.
Unless otherwise stated, all applicable taxes are included where legally required.
Payment
Payments are securely processed through Stripe.
Registration is confirmed only after successful payment.
Event Services
The registration fee includes only those services specifically described for the selected ticket category.
Travel, accommodation, visas, insurance and any personal expenses are the sole responsibility of the participant.
Changes to the Event
TiE Germany e.V. reserves the right to:
change speakers,
modify the conference agenda,
change the venue within the same city,
adjust the event schedule where reasonably necessary.
Such changes shall not entitle participants to a refund provided that the overall nature of the event remains substantially unchanged.
Liability
TiE Germany e.V. shall only be liable for damages resulting from intentional misconduct or gross negligence. liability for slight negligence shall be limited to essential contractual obligations as required by German law. The organizer shall not be liable for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings.
Force Majeure
The organizer shall not be liable for cancellation or interruption caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, strikes, acts of terrorism or other force majeure events.
Data Protection
Personal data will be processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy published on the website.
Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed exclusively by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. To the extent permitted by law, the place of jurisdiction shall be Frankfurt am Main, Germany.
Severability
Should any provision of these Terms & Conditions become invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
Cancellation Policy and Right of Withdrawal
Under Section 312g (2) No. 9 of the German Civil Code (BGB), consumers do not have a statutory right of withdrawal for contracts relating to leisure activities where the contract provides for a specific date or period of performance.
As TiECon Germany is an event held on fixed dates, no statutory right of withdrawal applies once a registration has been completed.
Cancellation and refund rights are governed exclusively by the TiECon Germany Participation Policy.
Participants are encouraged to review the Participation Terms before completing their registration.
