TiECon Germany Code of Conduct
Our Commitment
TiE Germany e.V. is committed to providing a safe, welcoming, inclusive and professional environment for everyone attending TiECon Germany, regardless of nationality, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, religion, or professional background.
All participants—including attendees, speakers, sponsors, exhibitors, volunteers, media representatives and organizers—are expected to conduct themselves respectfully throughout the event.
Expected Behaviour
Participants are expected to:
Treat everyone with courtesy, dignity and respect.
Foster an open and inclusive environment for networking and collaboration.
Respect differing opinions and viewpoints.
Follow the instructions of the event organizers and venue staff.
Comply with all applicable laws and venue regulations.
Unacceptable Behaviour
The following behaviours are not tolerated:
Harassment, intimidation or bullying.
Discrimination of any kind.
Offensive, abusive or threatening language or behaviour.
Unwanted physical contact or unwelcome sexual attention.
Disrupting presentations, workshops or networking sessions.
Recording confidential discussions without permission.
Excessive intoxication or behaviour that endangers others.
Any illegal activity.
Reporting Concerns
If you experience or witness inappropriate behaviour, please report it immediately to any member of the TiE Germany organizing team or contact:

Reports will be handled promptly, confidentially and respectfully.
Enforcement
The organizer reserves the right to:
issue warnings,
remove participants from individual sessions,
revoke event badges,
remove participants from the conference without refund,
notify venue security or law enforcement where appropriate.
These measures may be taken at the sole discretion of TiE Germany e.V.
Photography & Media
By attending TiECon Germany, participants acknowledge that photography and video recording will occur during the event. Images may be used for future promotional purposes.
Participants who do not wish to appear in photographs should inform the registration desk upon arrival.
